A model of your car, from a photo

Upload one clear photo of the car - side-on or front three-quarter, the whole vehicle in frame, in good light. Our 3D engine builds a printable model from it, you preview it and approve the exact NZD price, and we print it in Tauranga and courier it to you. Nothing is printed until you approve the model and its exact print price.

Phone photos are fine; avoid heavy shadows or bright reflections across the body. An old printed photo can work too: photograph it flat, in daylight, without glare.

Pricing is by size: small $11–23, medium $23–41, large $41–66, xl from $66. Shipping is added at checkout and depends on where it's going. The size is the model's longest side, so for a car it's the length. A palm-sized car sits nicely on a desk; the larger sizes suit a shelf or cabinet display. You'll see the exact price for your actual model before you pay for the print. Making each 3D model uses generation credits - signing up covers your first 4 models free, then credit packs start at $12. The size price is for the print itself, and nothing is printed until you approve the model.

There's no fixed scale, because every car is a different length. The size you pick sets the model's length: up to about 6, 11, 17 or 25 cm. For a typical 4.5 m car that's roughly 1:75, 1:41, 1:26 or 1:18. That matches a die-cast at those scales in size, not in precision.

No - and we're honest about that. It's a recognisable model built from your photo: the shape, stance and character of your car, printed as one solid piece. It's made to say 'that's my car', not to be a 1:18 die-cast substitute.

Standard prints are one solid colour of your choice from eight: Warm White, Matte Black, Crimson Red, Navy Blue, Sky Blue, Forest Green, Sunflower Yellow and Walnut Brown. It's a sculptural model, not a paint-matched replica, so you can pick the colour closest to your car's, or a display colour like Matte Black. You can also split the model into horizontal colour bands in the editor. Multi-colour prints add a surcharge - your exact price is always shown before you pay.

Yes - anything you can photograph clearly. Bikes and vehicles with thin parts (mirrors, aerials, spoked wheels) come out best at the larger sizes, where those details have enough material to print strongly. The very finest details, like thin spokes, can still come out solid.

Yes, as a display piece. An engine photographed on its own, out of the car, can become a model for the desk or shelf. Engines are busy shapes, so expect the main forms rather than every bolt. It's a display model, not a working or fitting part: for a part made to measure, upload your own 3D file or ask us about custom work.

Everything is made to order in Tauranga once you approve your model, then couriered to you. There's no overseas wait and no customs, so it arrives in days rather than the weeks an overseas studio takes. Need it by a date? Message us first and we'll confirm the timeline.
